A new position within the Choo Yilin marketing team to support the growth of the brand. Working closely with the Marketing and BD Head, this role will oversee and orchestrate Choo Yilin’s marketing and business development activities to drive revenue and create a customer-focused, consistent brand experience.

People Management

  • Managing and coordinating between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Motivating all portfolios to deliver brand excellence, managing across senior and junior stakeholders.

Budget Management

  • Support in the management of the marketing budget and working with the relevant stakeholders to maximise ROI.
  • Control cost through monthly review of expenses with marketing and finance team
  • Consolidate figures at end of every quarter and year to determine projected annual cost is within budget
  • Support in managing variance from budget

Brand Management

  • Ensure consistent articulation of brand voice, image, and positioning
  • Ensure that all marketing activities support product/market fit
  • Continuously fine-tuning marketing’s activities to best speak to the brand’s consumers
  • Manage crisis communications on the social media and digital platforms

Portfolio Management: Marketing (Digital, social media, offline)

  • Support creation and planning of a multi-layered marketing calendar (product, promotion, campaigns, events)
  • Embody the voice of the customer, ensuring customer-focused plans and executions across all touch points.
  • Deep understanding of market, competitors, consumer segmentation.
  • Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity to ensure KPIs and ROIs are met. ● Generate and track monthly required reports (etc revenue reports)
  • Providing insights, feedback, and recommendations for future campaigns
  • Implementation of marketing calendar and activities across individual marcomms channels (eDMs, website, social media, blog, catalogs, VM etc)
  • Assume responsibility for coordination and activation of all marketing activity in a manner that is on time, on budget, and on brand.
  • Proofreading (and editing where necessary) communication materials (press releases, external presentations, reports, invitations, website, social media, blog etc )
  • Ensure all digital and social media platforms are well maintained
  • Monitor all comms platforms and ensure that all postings, interactions, enquiries and feedbacks are responded to in a timely manner
  • Work with marketing team and merchandising manager to present promotion mechanics and get approval.
  • Leading the team on the delivery of strategic digital, social media, influencer, community, and influencer campaign.
  • Developing strong content strategy to support growth in the region
  • Monitoring costs of projects, inclusive of BAUs such as photoshoots, articles etc


  • Where necessary:

○ Able to manage external agencies

○ Plugging gaps where required

○ Lead ad-hoc special projects
