Admissions Manager (Sales)

The successful candidate will play an important role in the customer journey of Lorna Whiston Schools, ensuring that all customers receive excellent service from the point of admissions to after sales care.

Position Summary & Objectives

We’re looking a highly energetic, team-oriented, and driven sales professional keen on leaving his / her mark on a very dynamic business and environment. As a member of the frontline team, the Admissions Manager, based in Singapore, will play a significant role in driving and growing the admissions sales, as well as helping to target and reach goals set out for both the individual and the team. The Admissions Manager plays an important role in driving leads/admissions conversion activities through all channels and delivering support services to convert leads.

Roles & Responsibilities

The key areas of focus for Admissions Managers are as follows:

Student Enrolment Conversion
• To successfully work towards the goal of converting visits and “opportunities” (qualified leads) into applications and firm enrolments.
• Develop personal rapport with prospective parents and students
• Work closely with the Inquiry Managers to understand the profile of students and deliver best-in-class admissions pitches and school tours
• Prepare and tailor admissions pitches and tours to individual needs of prospective students and parents
• Schedule and confirm timing for personal tours/ school visits
• Deliver personalised visit experience to each prospective parent and student
• Conduct one-on-one and group tours of the school and answer parent and student queries during post-tour consultations.
• Provide post-tour follow-up with each individual family and continue to foster a personal relationship

Lorna Whiston Brand Ambassador
• To serve as a front-line representative to families and the external community, providing the best customer service during a customer’s initial admission and enrolment experience.
• Act as brand ambassador and present the schools to prospective parents and students at recruitment events, open days and information sessions locally and in overseas markets.
• Know the school’s unique-selling points and continuously learn new features of the school; communicate the school ethos and programs effectively.
• Build relationships with key partners, affiliates and influencers in the communities locally.
• Assist Admin Team as needed through application and offer process.
• Deliver group tours during Open House and participate in other recruitment activities as needed.
Reporting and Data
• To manage the pipeline of opportunities and diligently update CRM platform.
• Input notes on specific families in the CRM platform.
• Ensure accuracy in reporting and data collection.

Qualifications and Experience

• Direct sales experience in a highly personalised B2C environment ideally though not necessarily in education or related business. Prior recruitment or admissions experience in schools is a plus.
• Pro-active and shows initiative. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent presentation and influencing / persuasion skills in a one-on-one and group settings.
• Results oriented and driven by successful outcomes.
• A team-player who is able to work with different parties to achieve the overall goal.
• Experience in dealing with clients in a multi-cultural setting.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Hubspot is an advantage.
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Strong English language proficiency, both spoken and written.
• Conversational Mandarin is an advantage
• Diploma/Bachelor degree in any discipline

Role Information:

Reports to: Director of Admissions
Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week (including Saturdays and Sundays). The two rest days are on weekdays.

Location: Singapore (United Square)
