As a Part-time Sectional Instructors for Concert Band, you will work with the teachers-in-charge and Band Directors to develop students’ practical skills in reading scores and playing their musical instrument. Your job responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

• To enable students to learn and apply practical skills to read their music scores
  To enable students to learn and apply practical skills to play their specific musical instrument
• The sections include:

1. Clarinet
2. Oboe
3. Saxophone
4. French Horn
5. Euphonium
6. Trombone
7. Tuba
8. String Bass
9. Percussion
10. Bassoon
11. Trumpet
12. Flute

Key Skills And Requirements Needed:

• Preferably be certified in ABRSM Practical for relevant musical instrument
• At least 2 years of experience in coaching or playing the relevant instrument in Band.
• You may be requested to give a lesson to demonstrate competency in facilitating training for students.
• You will need to provide a list of current and past training conducted for similar programmes from 1 Jan 2019 to current.

Working hours:

• Thursdays or Fridays.
• Between 3.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. (2 hours per session) for Thursday or between 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. (2 hours per session) for Friday
• Excluding public holidays, school holidays and CCA stand down period for exams or unless otherwise informed by the school
• S$80 - S$100/hour
• Working location: Hougang Avenue 1
